Workforce Support Officer (Casual)

  • Location: Newcastle or Sydney (Work from home available once fully trained)
  • On-call role predominantly after hours
  • 4 weeks paid full-time training provided
  • Salary packaging up to $15900 put more money in your pocket

About the Role

This is a fast-paced high-impact role where youll be the engine behind the scenes. Youll play a critical part in supporting our national operations by coordinating rosters and ensuring our customers receive consistent high-quality support when they need it most.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain operational rosters across services balancing customer needs budgets and award conditions
  • Manage leave last-minute changes and engage agencies when required
  • Respond to rostering enquiries via phone and email with clarity empathy and confidence
  • Proactively identify gaps and help implement practical real-time solutions
  • Contribute to improving systems processes and team culture in a dynamic support environment

About You

You thrive under pressure think on your feet and enjoy solving complex problems that really matter.

Youll bring:

  • Experience in 24/7 rostering or workforce coordination
  • Working knowledge of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel confidence is key)
  • Experience with Emplive Whispir or Genesys (highly regarded)
  • Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Calm confident communication skills including de-escalation
  • A collaborative mindset focused on outcomes for people and services
