Senior Sales Ops Manager Scale, AWS Strategy & Operations

AWS SMGS is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Manager to join their Global Sales Strategy & Operations team in their Scale team. This role combines hands-on analytics with operational excellence and strategic thinking where youll use data analysis and modeling to support Sales Leaders in the SMB and Scale teams. Youll play a key role in maintaining business health and driving data-informed strategic decisions across the region.

This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to analyze complex datasets from multiple sources. Youll be instrumental in delivering insights and intelligence that directly impact our decision-making processes.

Key job responsibilities
Key Focus Areas:
Managing sales performance reporting analysis
Conducting analysis for trends observations and developing recommendations for sales strategy across EMEA
Creating reports using diverse data sources
Delivering actionable insights to EMEA-wide stakeholders

o Conduct comprehensive analysis of diverse datasets to uncover meaningful business insights
o Design and deliver regular and on-demand business analytics with stakeholders
Strategic Planning & Reporting
o Maintain monthly health of the business
Metrics & Performance Management
o Monitor and evaluate existing performance metrics
o Transform complex data into actionable recommendations
Business Intelligence
o Deliver strategic insights to guide business decisions
o Provide data-driven recommendations through detailed analysis

The team has extensive visibility to EMEA Directors and Senior Leadership Team given the strategic nature of the role.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM variable compensation revenue reporting forecasting Salesforce automation etc.
- Experience defining refining and implementing sales processes procedures and policies or equivalent

- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
