Civils Manager

Job Title: Civils Manager (Aberdeen)

Location: Aberdeen UK

Contract Details: Full-time

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civils Manager to join our team in Aberdeen.

As the Civils Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil engineering projects in the Aberdeen area. This includes managing the planning design and construction phases as well as ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all civil engineering projects in Aberdeen from conception to completion

- Develop project plans timelines and budgets and ensure that they are adhered to

- Coordinate with clients contractors and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery

- Monitor project progress and identify and address any issues or delays

- Manage project resources including personnel equipment and materials

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies

- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met

- Prepare and submit project progress reports to senior management

- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them

- Mentor and train junior staff members as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles techniques and standards

- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget

- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures

- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
