A&P Mechanic (Aircraft Maintenance Technician)

Join a leading aviation maintenance team supporting  business jet programs in Windsor Locks Connecticut.

This role focuses on aircraft maintenance troubleshooting inspection repair and modification of Global and Challenger business jets within a high-performance corporate aviation environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring airworthiness safety and reliability of advanced business aircraft.

• Perform aircraft maintenance inspections troubleshooting repairs and installations
• Diagnose and correct mechanical and electrical system issues on aircraft
• Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks per technical manuals
• Perform component removal installation and system repairs
• Assist with engine removal/installation fueling and ground support operations
• Document all maintenance work in compliance with FAA and company procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards
• Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles as required
• Participate in 5S workplace organization and cleanliness initiatives
• Provide off-site maintenance support when required
• Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to ensure aircraft readiness

Qualifications :

• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required
• Minimum 3 years of corporate aviation experience preferably on Bombardier or Gulfstream aircraft
• Strong experience in aircraft maintenance troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and maintenance manuals
• Must own and maintain basic hand tools with proper inventory control
• Ability to obtain required Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications
• Willingness to work overtime weekends and flexible schedules as required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to obtain SIDA badge if applicable
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
