Senior Mechanical Engineer Nuclear Area Integration

Job Summary
You will coordinate installation sequencing across contracts from manufacturing through to commissioning phases.
You ensure integration of engineering construction and commissioning activities to support project milestones.
You work closely with planning teams to optimise delivery sequences and minimise project risks.
Coordinate installation sequencing across multi-contract project delivery scopes
Resolve complex interfaces between commissioning construction and erection teams
Align planning schedules with commissioning milestones and delivery requirements
Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies for site activities
Ensure dependencies and constraints are managed for smooth project execution
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive best-for-project decisions
Support integration of planning data using digital tools and analytics
Facilitate communication between engineering procurement and construction teams
Analyse project data to inform decision-making and optimise performance
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Qualifications
Degree in engineering or construction-related discipline or equivalent experience
Extensive experience delivering large complex infrastructure projects
Understanding of nuclear safety culture and regulated environments
Strong knowledge of planning sequencing and integration methodologies
Familiarity with NEC and FIDIC contract frameworks
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary project teams
Experience with tools like Navisworks Synchro or Primavera P6
Understanding of risk management and project change control processes
