Warehouse Operative Nights

• Contract Type: Permanent 37.5 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
• Hours of Work: 02:00 to 10:00

This is a fast-paced physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our operation playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading scanning and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners conveyor systems and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health safety and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies damaged items or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
