What will you do as a Sales Support Representative
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) position is a role that requires quick thinking in a dynamic high energy work environment. As an SSR you will interact with an international customer base to provide them with information to address inquiries regarding products and services in a timely and professional manner. You will process orders and repairs requests prepare correspondences fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction and essentially provide valuable support to help our Global Sales representatives do their job more effectively.
You will report to the Sales Operations Manager and work with the rest of the Sales Support Representatives and our Global Sales Team to ensure the order management process runs efficiently and effectively. Our department is top notch for tackling customer issues and providing the best solutions. We focus on delivering excellent customer service.
In addition to processing orders and Return Material Authorizations (RMA) the Sales Support Team acts as a communication hub to which our international customer base sends their queries. We direct these queries to the relevant departments within our company to get the information required.
- Create and maintain customer accounts by recording information in the CRM system
- Receive process and verify the accuracy of orders from customers inputting the data into the organizations CRM.
- Communicates with customers any changes to orders such as revised shipping dates pricing or items ordered.
- Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMA)
- Provide customers with accurate valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
- Provide exceptional and timely support to the international team of sales representatives
- Work together with colleagues from other departments to improve efficiency and excellence in our overall service delivery
- Coordinate demo equipment requests and ensure prompt return of overdue equipment
- Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches
- Adheres to LMI Employee Policy Manual
- Occasional travel may be required
What do you need to be successful
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience with preference given to those candidates with a technical background or work experience
- Bachelor or above.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office and/or G-Suite tools with a general comfort level in using different technologies
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems is highly desirable (Netsuite would be an asset)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Self-motivated have a positive attitude and a results-oriented approach to business
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written) fluently is required. CET-4 minimum.
