Position Summary
As a Trademark Paralegal you will play a central role in managing and advancing domestic and international trademark portfolios. Working closely with attorneys and clients you will handle a wide range of sophisticated intellectual property matters ensuring precision timeliness and strategic support across all stages of the trademark lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. and foreign trademark filings including applications extensions Statements of Use renewals and recordations
- Support office action responses before the USPTO WIPO and foreign trademark offices
- Conduct trademark searches and prepare analytical reports and prepare copyright applications and manage related filings
- Assist with TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings UDRP filings and trademark litigation matters
- Coordinate with docketing teams to maintain and update trademark deadlines using Foundation IP
- Draft and manage client and foreign associate correspondence while managing client intakes and counsel transitions
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files; oversee docket accuracy and deadlines
- Conduct research investigations and due diligence on trademark portfolios including chain of title reviews
This person will also develop deep expertise in trademark docketing systems (Foundation IP) and utilize a variety of toolsincluding USPTO platforms (TEAS Trademark Center) WIPO systems and firm-approved AI solutionsto enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance.
