Location:Sacramento California This is a full-time on-site position in a collaborative office supporting attorneys across multiple California offices.

Note:Candidates must have 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm. Experience managing litigation matters from inception through trial preparation is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation from case inception through resolution.
• Assist attorneys in both the Sacramento and Bay Area offices while working from the Sacramento office.
• Draft review and organize pleadings discovery motions subpoenas and legal correspondence.
• Manage document production discovery responses and case files.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Coordinate depositions hearings mediations expert witnesses and trial logistics.
• Prepare trial binders exhibits witness files and other trial materials.
• File documents electronically in state and federal courts.
• Maintain litigation calendars and monitor case deadlines.
• Communicate professionally with clients opposing counsel courts and vendors.

Qualifications

• 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures.
• Experience with discovery trial preparation and document management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active matters while meeting deadlines.
