Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Position Overview
A growing company in the automotive recycling and distribution industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join its corporate finance team. This is a high-volume fast-paced role offering strong growth potential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes including invoice matching coding and entry into the system
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
Review and code invoices to appropriate GL accounts departments and locations
Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices
Monitor purchase orders and ensure proper invoice alignment
Maintain accurate vendor records and account details
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Process expense reports and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end close activities
Maintain organized and compliant AP documentation and filing systems
Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and deadlines
Support additional accounting projects as needed

Qualifications
3 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
High school diploma required; coursework in accounting preferred
Experience with ERP systems such as Sage 100 strongly preferred
Exposure to purchasing or procurement processes is a plus
Strong understanding of AP processes and general ledger coding
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; 10-key by touch
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams
Self-starter with strong problem-solving and time management skills

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $20$25/hr depending on experience
