Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures screening entry and exit activity and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances gates sally ports and/or credential checkpoints to help control authorized access verify identification and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents alarms policy violations and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and public sector personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter observing for unusual activity unsecured areas and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Prepare clear reports of daily activities access denials incidents and/or unusual observations and help to support order within a government-focused juvenile services environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be able to meet COLA DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
