Bank Pharmacist
Location: Fitzwilliam Hospital Peterborough
Contract: Bank (ad hoc)
Hours: Typically Weekdays: 09:0017:00; Saturdays: 09:00-16:00hrs
Fitzwilliam Hospital is seeking a flexible experienced Bank Pharmacist to support clinical services on an ad hoc basis ensuring safe and effective medicines use within an elective setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Medicines reconciliation history taking and clinical screening
- Identify and resolve medicines-related issues
- Provide advice on dosing interactions and optimisation
- Support discharge planning and patient counselling
- Monitor and document adverse drug reactions
- Dispense and check medicines including Controlled Drugs
- Workclosely with the multidisciplinary team

Part of Ramsay Health Care UK Fitzwilliam Hospital delivers care to NHS private and self-pay patients across General Surgery Orthopaedics Ophthalmology and Cosmetic Surgery.
Requirements
Essential: MPharm GPhC registration strong communication skills flexible approach
Desirable: Hospital experience; CMM (JAC) and Maxims knowledge
