Locker Room Manager Beechmont Country Club

• All facets of shoe care not limited to cleaning buffing polishing edging and storage of member and guest shoes.
• Perform individual and complete spike replacement services for members and guests alike.
• Clean and maintain locker room spaces.
• Qualify guest for daily golf or spa locker assignment.
• Record name date and locker number on tracking board.
• Distribute keys.
• Inform guest of hours of operation and key return policy.
• Escort guest to predetermined locker space.
• Provide necessary linen and/or attire when appropriate.
• Clean and polish shoes and replace in appropriate predetermined locker space when applicable and/or as instructed.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance and attend staff meetings.

• High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Frequently stands and walks; uses hands to finger handle or feel; reaches with hands and arms.
• Frequently sits.
• Occasionally stoops kneels crouches or crawls; talks or hears.
• Occasionally has to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Regularly uses close distance color and peripheral vision as well as depth perception.

• Occasionally works in humid conditions (non-weather).
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

• Ability to read and speak English is required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking members guests or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Will be required: to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos; to write simple correspondence; to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to members guests and other associates of the organization
• May be required: to add subtract multiply and divided in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals; to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• May be called upon: to apply common sense understanding of carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions furnished in written or oral form; to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
