Job Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with The Menta Group you will work with students to provide speech-language assistance in accordance with the students IEPs.

Menta Academy Northwest Machesney Park IL (Rockford area) -a Therapeutic Day School setting

Staff Hours 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mon-Fri following a School Calendar

Part Time Work: Flexible on Days/Hours worked so long as theyre within staff hours

Responsibilities

Supervise students in groups and individually monitoring behavior to ensure that it aligns with programmatic expectations.
Provide educational direction and support for students at times of confusion frustration & emotional upset.
Develop and update IEP goals and progress reports for student caseload.
Provide Speech-Language related service minutes as dictated on the IEP.
Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.
Work 2 total days per week during work hours (can be flexible).
Compensated Intrastate Travel Required

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited university program.
Current Speech-Language Pathology license from IDFPR
Clinical Competency Certification (CCC) preferred but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.
