Preschool Teacher Full Time
We are seeking a creative energetic and dependable Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting young childrens growth and development. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a play-based environment collaborates well with others and is motivated to continue growing both professionally and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging developmentally appropriate play-based curriculum
- Create a nurturing inclusive classroom environment that supports childrens social emotional and cognitive development
- Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground ensuring safety at all times
- Observe and assess childrens progress and respond to individual and group needs
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director and teaching team regarding student development and classroom needs
- Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about childrens progress and experiences
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to maintain program consistency and quality
- Maintain a clean organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
- Participate in staff meetings trainings and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Preschool Teacher (preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood best practices
- Experience with play-based learning environments
- Knowledge of classroom health safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication teamwork and classroom management skills
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelors degree in Child Development or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 12 ECE units required
- At least 2 years of preschool teaching experience preferred
