Student Digital Construction Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a student to join us for a 4 month co-op position starting in May 2026. This position will be based out of Edmonton Alberta.
What You Will Be Working On

Perform various project duties related to Digital Construction deployment as.
Perform design coordination andassistinidentifyingconstructability issues with the project team and subcontractors.
Collaborate with site team tofacilitatesitelogisticsplan in a model environment andassistin the development of schedule visualization models. Also video export will beon an ad-hoc basis.
Act as Model Administrator for assigned projects.
Assistin training other project staff and subcontractors on Digital Construction software and workflows as.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the District Digital Construction Lead.
Model Accuracy
Maintain andfacilitatemodels including structure interior and exterior architectural elements and MEP systems (as applicable/where).
Coordinate with BIM service providers and subcontractors.
Assistin the model development process to illustrate contractor questions and solutions.
Coordinate 3D laser scans/point cloud models.
Accumulate facilities management information from project stakeholders for incorporation into digital construction model as.
Distribute new and revised models as applicable to Change Management documentation.
Compile contract VDC close out documentation as assigned.
Schedule Visualization
Work with project team to develop and implement schedule visualization workflows.
Educate and guide site team on the workflows related to schedule visualization.
Prepare 4D simulations on an ad-hoc basis
Consultant Coordination
Assistthe project teams to develop healthy dialogue with consultants and designers.
Facilitate thetimelyand orderly collection and/or coordination of all consultant BIM models.
Coordinate as applicable with consultant Model Managers and Coordinators to clarify and update consultant design models.
Assistand occasionally lead model coordination meetings.
Assist based on project requirements in the administration of the BIM Execution Planas prescribed byeither the Consultant or Client.
Subcontractor/Trade Coordination
Assistwith updatingmaintaining and distributing documents to field and subcontractors.
Assistand occasionally model coordination meetings.
Assistin coordination of models with internal and subcontractor detailers and modelers. Record coordination sign offs.
WhoWeNeedOnOurTeam
You are currently enrolled in Engineering Construction Management or Architecture diploma or equivalent program.
You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship andpossessa GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Experience working with tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
Experience working with Autodesk Construction CloudReviztoandFuzorwill be an asset.
Ability to lead andoperatewithin an environment where change happensfrequently.
Ability to forge grow andmaintainpositive relationships.
