The Director Construction Operations provides enterprise leadership and standardization for construction activities across all healthcare facilities within the system. Reporting to the Executive Director of Design and Construction this role oversees field operations construction safety quality contractor performance and operational readiness for capital projects executed in active clinical environments. The Director ensures consistent construction practices across all regions protects patient safety maintains regulatory compliance and supports efficient reliable capital delivery.

Position Details:

Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering Architecture Project Management or related field.
Proven experience managing construction in active healthcare environments across multiple facilities or regions.
Deep knowledge of healthcare construction safety infection control and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrixed enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Construction Management Engineering Business or Healthcare Administration.
3 years progressive construction leadership experience including significant healthcare exposure.
Professional certifications: CCM PMP PE CHC.
Experience in large hospital systems IDNs or academic medical centers.
Background in major capital programs central utility plants or highacuity clinical environments.
