Job Summary

The Creative Coordination Manager is responsible for maintaining a highly productive team of coordinators focused on accurate delivery of a range of projects from large scale seasonal campaigns to daily deliverables that drive retail business across multiple channels. The Creative Coordination Manager ensures team and project and resource alignment with integrated marketing and brand managers. As a manager you supervise the team of creative coordinators with laser focus on balancing the creation tracking and management of creative project schedules for key business units across JD Finish Line and Finish Line at Macys. You are a master of flexible planning and organization with an acute understanding of the creative process across print digital and video including shoot production design print production and video post production. As an experienced manager you know the importance of leading your team to identify and collaboratively develop practices and partnerships that will increase efficiency and accuracy with planning and scheduling creative projects and this role you will work directly with Integrated Marketing managers Brand managers Creative leadership and external creative partners to collectively develop successful creative project plans and champion them from the onset throughout the projects lifecycle with the following duties:

  • Manage the creative coordinator team to foster strong trusted relationships operate with agility and excel as experts.

  • Build and manage end-to-end timelines for key initiatives and large-scale omnichannel creative projects from concept through launch.

  • Direct and maintain weekly scheduling and resource allocation across creative teams (design motion print production and copy) balancing business and marketing priorities with forward-looking week-over-week resource planning.

  • Create connections to plan and coordinate project schedules and resource alignment with external creative partners to hit on time project delivery.

  • Manage creative freelance budget

  • Manage project scope and changes with integrated marketing and lead coordinator team to do the same through all levels of projects.

  • Identify monitor and track issues conflicts dependencies and critical path deliverables.

  • Run weekly demand planning sessions as necessary to maintain successful project scheduling and delivery.

  • Use data to deliver insights that can affect forecasting and accuracy with creative scheduling and resourcing.

  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience-

Bachelors degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience required with Business Marketing Communication or Computer Science preferred. Minimum of 4 - 6 years relevant work experience required in Interactive Marketing or eCommerce. Experience in organizing information collaborating thinking critically and working as part of a team required. Strong project management and organizational skills with prior experience in an online production or project management role is preferred. Management experience preferred. Internal JD Finish Line experience preferred.

Required Computer and/or Technical Skills-

Excellent computer skills including intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. High degree of internet savvy with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and media trends.

  • 5 yrs experience managing and scheduling creative projects and coordinator teams

  • Exceptional leadership communication and organizational skills

  • Master problem solver

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail

  • Expert knowledge of Basecamp 3

  • Intermediate experience and understand of design print and digital production processes

  • Intermediate understanding of photo/video production and post production processes

  • Familiarity with agile workflow

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite

Pay range: $ (depending on experience): 15% bonus target. All roles are eligible for the company 401K plan. Full time roles will be eligible for medical dental vision sick leave parental leave and company-paid time off.
