DESCRIPTION:
Join our team in Brno Czech Republic and become part of a global leader in serving science. You will join the EFA R&D software team responsible for developing SEM software for advanced failure analysis solutions in semiconductor applications. This role supports the Nanoprober Meridian-E and Centrios product lines and focuses on backend software development for next-generation automation instrument control and workflow systems.


REQUIREMENTS:

Experience

  • Advanced degree plus 3 years of experience or Bachelors degree plus 5 years of experience in software development in a commercial environment

  • Strong programming skills in C and/or C#

  • Experience with backend or system-level software development

  • Experience with object-oriented design debugging and testing of complex software systems

  • Experience working in Agile development teams preferred

  • Experience in automation instrument control motion control imaging or scientific software is an advantage

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good understanding of software development tools processes and version control

  • Ability to develop reliable maintainable and well-structured software

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a technically complex environment

  • Ability to travel occasionally (5-10%) for collaboration with global teams
