Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist to support a high-quality Diagnostic Imaging department in New York NY. This part-time weekend opportunity is ideal for professionals looking for a consistent schedule while delivering excellent patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations following established clinical protocols
Prepare patients for procedures ensuring comfort safety and clear communication
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in compliance with safety standards
Acquire review and transfer high-quality images to PACS and physician workstations
Support workflow activities including scheduling supply management and coordination tasks
Assist with onboarding and training of new ultrasound staff when needed
Respond to patient and provider inquiries professionally and efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Active ARDMS certification required
Current RDMS and BLS certification required
Strong proficiency in ultrasound imaging equipment and related software
Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard clinical systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail with a focus on patient safety and quality care
Education Requirement
Must meet one of the following:
Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR
High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program
