Job Description
Job Title: Repair & Lab Technician
Employment Type: ContracttoHire

- Associate of Applied Science (AA) in Electrical Technology or related technical field
- CompTIA A certification (preferred)
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive intake and inspect broken or damaged devices; perform basic diagnostics to identify issues and apply corrective actions under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Assist with device configuration and preparation for product and service installations at client facilities following stepbystep instructions from Technical Support and Infrastructure teams.
- Ensure required software applications and security measures are properly installed and validated prior to device redeployment.
- Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools under supervision to verify clear and prepare devices for reuse.
- Accurately document device condition repair activities and parts usage using approved inventory management systems.
- Support parts inventory organization and communicate shortages or needs to senior technicians or the Technical Support Manager.
- Collaborate with team members and crossfunctional departments to support device testing preparation and issue resolution.
- Perform additional tasks related to infield device support as assigned.

- Devices are correctly inspected logged and prepared for repair or configuration under supervision.
- All service and repair activities are documented accurately and on time.
- Inventory records are maintained organized and up to date.
- Assigned tasks are completed within established timelines with minimal rework.
Education and ExperienceEducation
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Enrollment in or completion of a technical training program Associates Degree or equivalent coursework (preferred)
Experience
- 02 years of experience in a technical support repair or hardwarerelated role
- Exposure to mobile devices consumer electronics or basic hardware repair (plus)
Required Skills Abilities and Certifications
- CompTIA A certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification required
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Foundational knowledge of mobile devices and hardware components
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies repair processes and internal systems
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Dependable selfmotivated and receptive to coaching and feedback
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment under direct supervision
Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsPhysical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Continuous use of hands fingers wrists and arms
- Ability to stoop reach and climb as needed
