Shipping & Receiving Technician I

Performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to shipping receiving storing issuing and delivering widely diversified or specialized supplies in accordance with current policies and procedures.

Please note that this is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm at the South Lake Union location.

• Processing incoming and outgoing items as necessary and within the guidelines of the department and the Clinic.
• On a daily basis covers various positions within Supply Chain team as business and staffing dictates - this includes but is not limited to manual and clerical duties storeroom functions and shipping/receiving duties.
• Assists and trains new employees in areas operations.

Required:

• A High School Diploma GED or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
• Pharmacy Assistant License (must be able to attain a Pharmacy Assistant License within 45 days of hire).
• Forklift and Pallet Jack Certification (must attain Forklift and Pallet Jack certification within 120 days of hire).
• Knowledge of computerized or automated systems operations.
• Knowledge of record keeping practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure.
• Knowledge of safety practice.
• Ability to lift heavy packages and objects > 50 lbs. using proper technique.
• Must be able to push/pull cart with 400 lbs. load.

Preferred:

• One (1) year supply chain experience or other relevant experience preferred
• General knowledge of distribution and supply chain activities.
• Knowledge of and experience with operating manual and automatic devices such as hand trucks and forklifts.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position working Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm at the South Lake Union location.
