Function/Duties of Position
OHSU seeks a full-time Systems Analyst/ Engineer in Portland Oregon to provide a broad spectrum of systems analysis engineering support and project management across OHSU ITG technology platforms.

Required Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelors (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science Electronic Engineering Information Technology or related 36 months experience as a Computer Network/ Systems Engineer or IT Engineer Cisco Certified Network Associate. Experience must include Designing implementing and supporting new systems and infrastructure; Using one or more formal project management methods; Supporting large mission critical systems in 24X7 multiple production environments; 3 years working with Cisco or Juniper systems; TCP/IP and other networking protocols; Crash analysis and troubleshooting; Application installation and configuration; Enterprise experience with general systems administration (at minimum UNIX and Microsoft) and/or scripting etc. Knowledge of Network Protocols (TCP/IP UDP etc.); Routing Protocols (OSPF BGP MPLS etc.); Network Topologies (Ethernet Wave Division Multiplexing etc.); Data Communications Equipment (Routers Switches WiFi Radio backhaul etc.); Network Management Tools (Netflow SNMP packet sniffing etc.); Premise Distribution Systems (Fiber Copper etc.); Security Toolsets (VPN Firewalls advanced ACL methods Auditing Tools Intrusion Detection etc.); Using accepted Change Control management processes; IT security best practices and processes; QOS methodologies and practice.
