Current Opportunity: Graduate Business Analyst

Aurizon is seeking a motivated Graduate Business Analyst to join our Bulk & Containerised Freight Commercial team supporting the analysisreportingand improvement of commercial and customer outcomes across our containerised and bulk freight operations.

In this role you will provide analytical and business support to the teamassistingwith data analysis reporting and insights that inform commercial decisionmaking pricing and service delivery. You will also support commercial and sales activities including preparing customer proposals tender responses and marketing material that communicate value to customers.

You will work closely with commercial managers sales and marketing teams and a broad range of internal stakeholders to support projects improve processes and help translate business and customer requirements into practical customerfocused outcomes.

You will gain exposure to Aurizons bulk and containerised freight services customer interactions commercial drivers and sales processes alongside the interfaces between customersoperationsand the wider business. The role offers handson experience in a fastpaced complex environment while buildinga strong foundationin business analysis commercialacumenand customerfocused marketing support.

About You

You are currently completing the final year of your degree and are ready to transition into your professional career as a business analyst. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification such as Business Commerce Finance Economics Marketing Supply Chain Analytics Engineering or a related discipline.

You have a genuine interest in how data analysis and insights support commercial decisionmaking sales outcomes and customer value. You bring developing analytical and problemsolving skills strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills that enable you to work effectively with a range of stakeholders in a complex business environment.

You will ideally also have an interest in or exposure to marketing and sales support activities such as:

• Assistingwith customer proposals tenders and bid responses
• Developing presentation and marketing materials for customers
• Translating commercial and operational data into clear customerfocused insights
• Supporting pricing value propositions and gotomarket initiatives

You are proactiveorganisedand comfortable working across both analytical and customerfacing tasks with a willingness to learn and contribute across commercialanalyticaland marketingfocused workstreams.
