We are currently strengthening our commercial presence in Portugal and are looking for an energetic results-driven Business Development / Sales Manager to support growth across municipal industrial and service markets.
Were Hiring: Business Development / Sales Manager
Location: Lisbon (with regular travel across Portugal)
Your Mission:
Drive business growth by identifying opportunities building strong client relationships and delivering high-value solutions in the water and environmental services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in water wastewater industrial services and technical solutions
Promote the service portfolio of SAUR and Aquapor including O&M contracts technical assistance and optimisation solutions
Analyse market trends customer needs and potential strategic partnerships
Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline forecasts and activity reports
Lead account reviews working closely with operational and technical teams to assess performance and identify growth opportunities
Prepare and present structured competitive proposals aligned with client expectations
Deliver compelling client presentations focused on value efficiency compliance and sustainability
Participate in internal business development meetings and contribute insights on market dynamics.
Your Profile:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Sciences Management Business or related field.
3 years experience in sales or business development roles.
Strong understanding of sales processes and value-based/solution selling.
Experience in water wastewater environmental services utilities industrial services or infrastructure sectors.
Technical knowledge in areas such as water/wastewater treatment pumping systems filtration reverse osmosis reuse or sludge treatment is a plus.
Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on long-term partnerships.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Fluent in Portuguese and good command of English.
Willingness to travel within Portugal.
