The Role:
As an Art Technician you will support teaching and learning by preparing materials maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and setting up materials for practical lessons
Maintaining art equipment and resources
Supporting students during practical sessions where required
Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
Ensuring health and safety compliance within the department
Assisting with displays and exhibitions
Requirements:
Background or interest in Art or Design
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Awareness of health and safety procedures
Practical and hands-on approach
