Job Summary

Role: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Mississauga ON
Full Time

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with over 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing configuring and supporting SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders technical teams and end-users to ensure the successful delivery of SAP FICO projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage SAP FICO implementations and support projects.
Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Configure SAP FI (GL AP AR AA) and CO (CCA PCA Internal Orders Product Costing) modules.
Perform system testing integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide end-user training and support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (MM SD PP).
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
Document system configurations processes and procedures.

Required Skills:

10 years of experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support.
Strong knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles.
Hands-on experience with SAP FI (GL AP AR AA) and CO (CCA PCA Internal Orders Product Costing).
Experience with integration of FICO with other SAP modules.
Proficiency in preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP developers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP FICO certification.
Experience with S/4HANA Finance.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
Experience in working with global teams and multi-country rollouts.

Understanding of tax and statutory requirements in different regions
