Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Fort Worth TX
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Purpose of the Role
The Business Analyst will support the Collections and Remarketing teams including Active Collections Recovery Exceptions Strategy and Soft Collections. This role involves close collaboration with leadership business and data stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with leadership business teams and data stakeholders
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
Reporting & Analysis
- Develop recurring production and ad hoc reports
- Analyze business results to identify trends and potential issues
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve reporting defects
- Ensure continuous improvement in reporting quality and efficiency
- Conduct datamart testing and validation
Task Description / Performance Expectations
1. Quality Control
- Review internally produced reports for accuracy and resolve issues
- Publish reports to stakeholders in line with SLAs
- Identify and troubleshoot data integrity and reporting issues
2. Scope Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define report requirements (purpose scope metrics layout)
- Translate requirements into technical specifications (filters calculations dimensions etc.)
- Maintain internal datasets such as department roster history vendor KPIs and dialer metrics
3. Customer Support
- Handle ad hoc requests and deliver recurring reports on time
- Prioritize requests in coordination with stakeholders and BA leadership
- Participate in project meetings to provide insights and technical guidance
4. Business Analysis & Consulting
- Provide trend and exception analysis with actionable insights
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and mapping
- Eliminate redundant reporting processes
- Automate manual reports using tools like SAS Cognos Power BI or Tableau
- Improve report efficiency runtime and visualization quality
5. Continuous Improvement
- Optimize existing reports for performance and usability
- Rebuild reports using more suitable tools where needed
- Regularly review reports for accuracy relevance and effectiveness
