Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Product Support Engineer) to join a high-performing team supporting advanced military communication products throughout their lifecycle.
This role focuses on investigating and resolving complex issues across analog digital and RF systems working closely with cross-functional teams in a lab environment adjacent to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the component level across analog and digital circuits
- Investigate and resolve technical problems using testing simulation and experimentation
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support new product introductions (NPI) including prototype debugging and production ramp-up
- Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to ensure product performance
- Provide technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers
- Lead small technical teams prioritize tasks and ensure delivery against targets
- Analyze designs and clearly communicate technical findings to stakeholders
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting skills in analog digital and RF systems
- Proficiency with lab equipment including:
- Oscilloscopes
- Digital Multimeters (DMM)
- Spectrum & Network Analyzers
- Logic Analyzers
- Signal Generators
- Experience with circuit design analysis and simulation tools
- Ability to design and execute engineering experiments
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
- Proven leadership experience in small technical teams
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with 6 years of relevant experience
OR - Masters degree with 4 years of relevant experience
OR - 10 years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
