Title: administrative/warehouse
Location: Indianapolis IN 46239
Job Type: 4 months Contract
Shift: Monday- Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM.
XXXX: $21.00 hourly on W2

The role requires multitasking; approximately 50% of the work is computer-based and 50% is physical.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Prepare packing supplies for clients and handle live shipments as they return to the office for export. Review and comprehend temperature handling related instructions to preserve the product temperature. Follow interdepartmental instructions along with directions from foreign offices to prepare packing and complete replenishments. Complete daily reports through internal systems and updating Excel sheets.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Comply with all appropriate policies procedures and safety rules.
2. Refurbish reusable packaging
3. Monitor respond to and action follow up notes in a timely manner
4. Monitor respond to and action personal and group email accounts in a timely manner
5. Monitor all On-Hold shipments for export and/or delivery approval
6. Process shipments and assure correct handling by:
Verifying all attached paperwork
Complying with any replenishment needs
Secure cargo space by booking via Triose
7. Proficiency in Cold Chain Management which will include but not limited to
Gel Pack/Packaging preparation
Gel Pack/Packaging refurbishment
Gel Pack/Packaging configuration
8. Pallet Jack Operation
9. Complete daily reports run through internal digital systems and utilize Excel spreadsheets for investigations and updating shipment information in internal systems.
10. Complete required training by due date.
11. Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
12. Assist in meeting customer packaging needs and cold chain replenishment when required.
13. Perform related/other duties when assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires completion of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires less than one (1) year of equivalent work experience. Experience in the logistics industry and Cold Chain Handling preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of reading address labels completing necessary paperwork and following directions.
2. Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.
3. Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
4. Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
5. Ability to multitask attention to detail
6. Ability to lift 75 lbs.
7. Ability to complete data entry and update various systems and spreadsheets
