Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Field Technician to provide onsite support and repair services for Dell / Lenovo laptops and related hardware. This role requires travel to customer locations to perform diagnostics troubleshooting hardware replacement and software support. Ideal for candidates with flexible schedules and a background in IT support or computer hardware repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites to service Dell / Lenovo laptops and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Perform part replacements (motherboards screens hard drives etc.).
- Install configure and update operating systems and drivers.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs parts used and service reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Adhere to service standards and protocols.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned service tickets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or IT certifications preferred).
- 3 years of experience in IT support or hardware repair
- A Certification or Dell certification (preferred but not required).
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop / laptop hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transport laptops and small equipment (up to 25 lbs).
