Nursing Manager ICU/CSU Medical / Health Nurse Leadership
Position Summary: The Nursing Manager provides comprehensive leadership across clinical operational and personnel functions. This role ensures the delivery of safe high-quality patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance optimizing resources and supporting staff development and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight of ICU/CSU clinical operations and patient care delivery
Promote a culture of safety collaboration and service excellence
Manage staffing scheduling and resource allocation to meet patient care needs and budget goals
Drive patient flow quality outcomes and compliance with core measures
Recruit hire onboard and develop nursing staff
Coach mentor and evaluate team members through performance management processes
Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards including CMS and The Joint Commission requirements
Address patient and employee concerns in a timely and professional manner
Participate in hospital leadership meetings committees and strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
3 5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience in an acute care setting
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Experience with staffing optimization budget management and service excellence initiatives
Knowledge of regulatory standards including CMS and The Joint Commission
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
ARDCS or CCI certification preferred
Bilingual skills preferred
