Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Dublin CA (Hybrid Onsite Tuesday through Thursday)

Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer on behalf of our client in Dublin CA. This role is part of a strategic modernization initiative to transform a legacy Oracle-based platform into a modern scalable architecture using Angular and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate is a hands-on senior engineer with strong full-stack expertise experience in legacy system modernization and a passion for leveraging modern development tools including AI-assisted coding solutions.

• Rebuild legacy user interfaces into modern Angular applications using reverse-engineered artifacts
• Develop and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Design build and consume RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI standards
• Work extensively with Oracle databases including complex queries and legacy schemas
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
• Write and maintain unit integration and end-to-end tests
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural and modernization strategies

• Strong experience with modern Angular frameworks
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot development
• Hands-on expertise with Oracle SQL and legacy data models (mandatory)
• Experience in application modernization or platform migration initiatives
• Solid understanding of REST API design and OpenAPI specifications
• Full-stack development experience across frontend and backend
• Ability to work independently in a senior engineering capacity

• Experience with Azure-based cloud-native applications
• Exposure to event-driven architectures (e.g. Kafka event streaming platforms)
• Familiarity with emerging AI concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or vector databases
• Experience with micro-frontend architecture
