Role: AGM - Sales
Location: Mumbai (WFO)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Business Development in International/ Domestic Air Freight / Door-to-Door Services and Cross Border E-commerce.
- Generate Sales from new and existing customers to achieve assigned sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a healthy multi-level sales funnel to drive sustainable sales growth.
- Is willing to travel extensively anywhere across the country or in territory as defined by the reporting manager
- Conduct cold calls to prospect qualify and schedule appointments Map each corporate client and develop a deep understanding of the organization key decision-makers current and future plans etc. and develop bespoke solutions to cater to their unique business needs.
- Visit clients conducts surveys prepare client proposals follow up negotiate and convert opportunities into business.
- Update daily sales activities on daily basis on CRM or as directed by reporting manager.
- Maintain MIS and Submits Daily Monthly and Quarter Reports. Study data and provide analytical reports and trends.
- Attend networking events conferences and seminars. Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and revenue and profit targets as assigned within defined timelines.
- Assist the marketing team business development team and management in developing and executing sales and marketing campaigns.
- Retention of customers increase business from existing customer and increase overall client base.
- To closely work with the Head of the Department in Key Accounts Management Business Development / Support Operations
- To ensure receivable management is under control and increase cash flow. Follows credit policy verbatim
- Monitors business volume closely vis- -vis targets assigned
Skills Set:
- Sound knowledge of air cargo (international ; domestic) operational processes
- Has great capability and confidence for leading team across country or any area as defined by reporting manager
- Has capability to represent company at corporate/non-corporate customers and make presentations on services/products with confidence.
- Assist senior management in collaborating data/business intelligence on international and domestic air cargo industry on trade lanes/routes on commodities on competitors and on market trends and developments.
- Liaise with Air Cargo Carriers for business volumes and maintain a healthy relationship.
