Job Summary
ABOUT US:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B- Pressure Journeyman Welder certificate required
- 2 years experience in spooling and/or vessel welding
- Ability to work independently efficiently and safely in a fast-paced shop environment
- Be an active participant in the companys safety program
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Successful completion of a pre-employment functional
- Successful completion of a Pre-employment drug and alcohol test
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):
Welding
- Read and interpret company and customer-supplied drawings and specifications to ensure quality welds and alignment of work performed.
- SMAW / GMAW / MCAW / GTAW weld processes
- Read and interpret welding process specifications.
- Layout Fit and weld components of piping spools
- Weld within parameters of weld procedures
SAFETY
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Rig materials and equipment utilizing overhead and jib cranes safely and effectively.
- Participate in safety and company programs to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Work collaboratively with fitters and Quality Control
- Engage in project reviews with engineering and drafting teams to align on technical specifications and timelines.
