Medical Office Assistant Opportunities Edmonton & Surrounding Area
Type: On-Site Full-Time Part-Time Temporary & Permanent
Executrade is currently building a talent pool of experienced Medical Office Assistants (MOAs) for upcoming temporary and permanent opportunities in Edmonton and surrounding areas. These roles are within a variety of healthcare settings including specialty clinics family practices and allied health environments.
We are looking to connect with professional patient-focused individuals who thrive in fast-paced medical environments and are committed to delivering exceptional front-line support.
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Greeting and checking in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Managing high-volume phone lines and appointment scheduling
- Processing referrals recalls and follow-ups
- Maintaining accurate patient records (EMR systems)
- Billing support (Alberta Health Care / private billing where applicable)
- Coordinating with physicians and clinical staff to support daily operations
- General administrative duties including scanning filing and correspondence
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant or Unit Clerk program is an asset
- Previous experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting required
- Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g. Accuro Med Access HealthQuest)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Professional empathetic and patient-focused approach
