Seasonal Human Resources Administrator
35 hours/week
Waterloo Ontario
Karis Disability Services is seeking a Seasonal Human Resources Administrator to provide clerical and administrative support to our Human Resources department. This role works closely with Human Resources Specialists and Administrators supporting daily HR operations documentation and process improvement initiatives.
The Seasonal HR Administrator plays an important behindâtheâscenes role in supporting recruitment onboarding benefits administration and HR documentation.
This position is well suited for a student or earlyâcareer professional pursuing education in Human Resources who is looking to gain practical handsâon HR experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Administrative Support
- Digitize archived employee files and upload records into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Review and update Human Resources templates standard operating procedures and process instructions
- Assist with documenting job tasks for positions within the Human Resources department
- Review and update job descriptions for consistency and accuracy across the organization
- Support employee benefit enrollment through documentation review and participation in the process
- Complete phone screening activities as part of the recruitment process as required
- Assist with filing and maintenance of physical and electronic employee records including archiving
- Provide general clerical and administrative support related to Human Resources functions
- Complete other duties as assigned to support departmental operations
What Were Looking For:
- Currently or previously enrolled in a university or college program in Human Resource Management Business or a related field
- 03 months of Human Resourcesrelated experience
- Strong organizational and timeâmanagement skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism and respect
- Creative problemâsolving and sound decisionâmaking abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
