Job Summary

CEDA is looking for a temporary Corporate Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Administrative for a term position of approximately one year based out of our Edmonton office. This is a Monday to Friday office based hybrid position (3 days in office 2 days remote).

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CEDAs HSE statistical reporting as well as internal performance and compliance reports on a recurring basis.
  • Develop and release corporate HSE communications including contributions to regular communication campaigns trend-driven updates and customer and industry/regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain third-party safety compliance registries such as ISNetworld Avetta and ComplyWorks.
  • Manage employee system access distribution lists and process-related system requests and changes.
  • Oversee document uploads revisions and master records within the HSEMS management system.
  • Support and complete general HSE projects initiatives and tasks as required.

Role Specification

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support coordination data/reporting or a related role is required.
  • Previous experience in a HSE or safety-focused environment is preferred.
  • A Health and Safety Administration designation or HSE certification from a recognized industry body (such as the Alberta Construction Safety Association) is considered an asset.

Personal Characteristics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain and produce accurate detailed information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
