In this position...

The Ford Supply Chain team is central to our ability to build great vehicles. As the manager for Tires your team will be responsible for the sourcing of highquality components while driving cost quality and ontime delivery. Youll help shape a resilient supply chain so Ford can consistently deliver the vehicles our customers want.

What youll do...

• Lead coach and develop a team of Buyers to achieve program-level cost quality and material-efficiency targets across the full program lifecycle.

• Own the supplier relationship strategy for Tires implementing a proactive engagement model to improve supplier performance capture innovation and mitigate commercial and operational risk.

• Define and execute long-term commodity strategies for tires that align with corporate objectives secure sustainable supply and maintain market competitiveness including sourcing plans for future programs.

• Partner with cross functional strategic teams to assess supply base footprint evaluate supplier financial health track emerging technologies and market trends and convert insights into actionable sourcing and risk mitigation plans.

Youll have...

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business or related discipline.

• Minimum of 3-years leading a team and 8 years of strategic buying or sourcing experience.

• Excellent persuasive written and verbal communication skills and be adept at producing proposals reports and plans that secure business leader commitment.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
