Maintenance Specialist

LabCorp is seeking aMaintenance Technicianto join our team inPhoenix AZ.

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 7am-4pm

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Relevant degree from a trade school is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar HVAC position; 3 years is preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical mechanical and plumbing systems
• CFR 40 Certifications and/or a Black Seal Boiler License are a plus
• Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as assigned
• Track repairs and PM activities
• Maintain building appearance MEP systems in a large medical laboratory including air handlers cooling towers chillers lower pressure boilers humidifiers VAV systems air compressors pumps motors exhaust fans and refrigeration devices
• Monitor the Building Management System (BMS) on a daily basis alerting management of any discrepancies and make adjustments as needed
• Perform daily rounds to check compressed air systems DI Water Systems and Lab Waste Systems
• Read & interpret intrepid shop drawings & control schematics
• Update CMMS system and excel spread sheets generate word documents and manage daily emails.
• Participate in annual safety training and earn required certifications for the position
• Assist with snow removal during winter conditions along with other trades as needed
• Assist other trades as needed
• Available for On-call duties and OT as necessary
• Perform other maintenance duties as required
