At Caterpillar we are seeking an Accounting Associate who will play a key role in VAT and indirect tax processes while actively contributing to the standardization and simplification of accounting operations in a global manufacturing environment. This role goes beyond daily accounting tasks and requires fluent English communication as you will work closely with international stakeholders systems and crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate compliant and forwardlooking tax reporting.
What You Will Do:
- Focus on indirect taxation VAT and related reporting during your daily duties
- Drive the conversation about the standardization and simplification of accounting processes in Caterpillar and take action
- Be responsible for compliant and up-to-date process documentation and reporting
- Oversee change management during any system implementation to improve tax reporting
What You Will Have:
- At least a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Great communication skills in English and Polish
- Deep understanding of Data and how to transform it into business insight
- General understanding of VAT regulations
- Previous experience from a manufacturing company would be advantageous
- Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
- Knowledge of accounting methods processes and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes
- Ability to cooperate and coordinate within and across Caterpillar divisions
- Open-minded attitude towards your colleagues and new ideas the ability to work successfully in a team
