LEONS FURNITURE IS NOW HIRING A FRANCHISE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
An opportunity is available to join the Franchise Department as a Full-Time Administrative Assistant located at our Home Office in Toronto. The Franchise Division is responsible for all services related to our 31 Leons franchises as well as the acquisitions of new franchises.
Job responsibilities will include the following:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to build rapport with current franchisees via phone or email communication.
- Working closely with all departments within Leons Home Office including the Legal Team Finance and Leons Executives.
- Entering orders for merchandise that the franchise stores request from our Distribution Centers.
- Perform accounts payable and receivable duties including invoice generation payment processing and accurate posting of receipts.
- Updating legal agreements for new and renewing franchises.
- Forwarding communication from Home Office to the franchise stores.
- Tracking renewal dates and sending corresponding communication.
- Assist in planning and facilitating the annual franchise meeting.
- Completing duties and meeting deadlines on time.
- Process credit requests and create invoices.
- Assist with creating systems and processes for the franchise division.
- Assist in ad hoc requests.
- Process monthly payouts and chargebacks.
- Review and upload franchise skus and e-comm cataloguing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.
- Experience with Oracle an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Leons POS MMHF and policies.
- Bilingual in English and French an asset but not necessary.

Compensation:
$36500/yr to $38000/yr
Working Requirements:
- In Office at our Toronto/North York Home Office
