Job Summary

SAP Architect / Technology Integrator Expert S/4HANA
long-term contract

As a SAP Architect / Technology Integrator Expert you will act as a technical authority for the local South African SAP S/4HANA and overall SAP solution architecture. You will ensure alignment with SAP standard Group templates lead process and solution analysis and drive compliance documentation archiving and platform topics across the end-to-end lifecycle from design and build to testing and productive operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
SAP Architecture & S/4HANA Expertise

Expert knowledge in SAP S/4HANA architecture and template approaches (global template rollouts governance)
Strong experience with SAP standard / fit-to-standard methods and process-to-solution mapping
Proven ability to design end-to-end integrated processes across SAP modules and interfacing applications
Experience with compliance and documentation requirements (audit readiness traceability architectural decision records)

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies (IDoc/BAPI/OData/API management middleware patterns eventing where applicable)
Solid technical understanding of SAP system landscape design (DEV/Q/PROD tenants client strategy) and transport governance
Hands-on knowledge of SAP Basis fundamentals (monitoring performance jobs background processing security notes HA/DR basics)
Experience with data lifecycle / archiving (SAP ILM retention legal requirements) and impact on performance and operations
Ability to analyze complex issues end-to-end from process and customizing to technical integration and operations and to document decisions clearly

Collaboration & Testing

Very strong stakeholder management across business delivery teams SAP Basis central security and auditors
Ability to facilitate architecture boards align decisions and manage risks trade-offs and technical debt
Hands-on experience supporting integration & end-to-end testing and guiding teams through root-cause analysis
Clear and structured communication incl. creation of high-quality documentation for audits operations and future rollouts

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

Experience with SAP BTP services and extension principles (side-by-side clean core)
Knowledge of SAP Signavio or comparable process mining/modelling tooling
Experience with authorization concepts SoD design and security architecture in SAP landscapes
Exposure to DevOps transport automation and release management in SAP
Experience with RISE with SAP operations and vendor management (SLAs handovers incident/problem processes)
Experience in international rollouts multi-entity SAP landscapes and template governance models
Understanding of automotive processes and company context (manufacturing logistics sales direct sales aftersales finance and controlling) is advantageous

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Information Technology Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
Several years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA solution design / architecture (expert level)
Proven experience in S/4HANA template/rollout projects including fit-to-standard workshops and governance
Practical experience working in SAP RISE and/or hybrid landscapes collaborating closely with SAP Basis and infrastructure teams
