Role Overview:
The Team Leader (Playing Captain) will manage a team of Relationship Managers while actively handling a personal book of HNI clients. The role combines leadership responsibility with individual revenue and AUM generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mentor and drive performance of the RM team while managing own HNI client portfolio
- Understand clients investment needs and design long-term asset allocation strategies
- Acquire and advise HNI clients across asset classes including Equity MF Debt and Alternates
- Oversee portfolio management with focus on asset allocation and family wealth management
- Drive AUM growth through both team performance and individual contribution
- Collaborate with product and research teams for tailored client solutions
- Support clients on Corporate Finance M&A and Private Equity opportunities
- Strengthen client relationships and ensure high-quality advisory standards across the team
Key Requirements:
- 8years of experience in Wealth Management/Private Banking
- Strong expertise in Equities (must) along with MF Fixed Income and Alternates
- Proven leadership experience along with strong individual contributor track record
- Demonstrated ability to acquire and manage HNI/UHNI clients
- Strong knowledge of financial planning tax and investment advisory
- Excellent leadership stakeholder management and communication skills
