Product Director – Insurance

As a Product Director in Business Banking you will play a crucial rolein shapingwhat thisnew service will look likeand deliveringitintomarket harnessingChases customer scalebrandability to personalize leveraging data andstrong digital candidate will help shape the product roadmap from the ground up to help buildthiscustomer-centricinsurancebusinessin a modern digital-led wayusing data and AI as our foundation.

In this high-visibility Executive Director role you willreport to both the HeadofProductfor Chase for BusinessandtheHead of Insurance tolead effortsto plan build and launchthis new Insurance will collaborate with engineering data science design(UI/UX) carrier relations operationslegal and other businesslines/functionsto definetheroadmapand thenmanage the delivery of that planas we go-to-market and introduce this new service to our customers.

Onan ongoing basis you will beaccountable for monitoring performance of the business to desiredmetrics andoutcomesand driving continual changeand ongoing roadmapprioritizationto improve performance against those outcomes. This opportunity is likely to involve multiple stagesofmaturityover the next 3yearsso this product leader will help shape thebuildand future direction of this business.

Job responsibilities

• Define and drive a multi-year productdeliveryapproachforInsurancein line with the vision and strategy that you will be part ofdefining sequencinga multi-quarter roadmap that delivers measurable outcomesto scale this new service to ourclients.
• Own product performance across stability scalability and adoptionthrough the funnel; prioritize investments and enhancements to meet businessobjectivesand improve frontline and client experiences.
• Lead anInsuranceproductdeliveryteam while providing highly matrixed leadership across Technology Data Design and multipleother stakeholdersto alignobjectives manage dependencies and deliver integrated solutions at scale.
• Translatebanker operationaland client needs into clear capabilities simple workflows and experience standards that drive frontlineand customeradoption across channels.
• Apply an Agile operating model to plan and execute deliveryowning backlog prioritization story refinement and release management for predictable execution.
• Establish and track product KPIs usage/adoption metrics and business impact; use insights to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
• Guidethe design and integration of solutions across enterprise platformsleveragingdata products systems and technologies (e.g. APIs microservices data platforms) perspective on new capabilities and solutions weneed to build or partner on to deliver this new Insurance product ( carrier integration capabilities).
• Influence senior stakeholders across Product Technology Design Data andother functions/linestoalign ontrade-offs resourcing and sequencing of high-value initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships where applicable including contract oversight and performance management to ensure alignment with businessobjectives.
• Champion SMB CFXs missionby deliveringintuitive tools that build trust with the frontline and elevate experiences at every touchpoint.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• 10 years of progressive experience in product management or adjacent functions (e.g. platform/product development data/technology) witha track recordof delivering complex products at scale in a highly matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated ownership of multi-year product strategy and execution including roadmap definition prioritization and delivery of measurable business outcomes.
• Proven leadership of product teams and cross-functional partners (Technology Data Design Legal and LOB stakeholders) with strongexperience in influencing and interacting with senior management.
• Expertisein modern product operating models and Agile practices including backlog management story refinement release planning and continuous improvement.
• Strong platform and data acumen; ability to partner on architecture and integration decisions and translate customer/banker needs into clear technical requirements (e.g. APIs microservices data platforms).
• Measurable experience driving adoption and changedefining experience standards simplifying workflows and improving frontline productivity and customer outcomes.
• Advanced analytical skills with experienceestablishingand interpreting KPIs/OKRs usage/adoption metrics and financial/operational impacts to inform decisions.
• Excellent executive communication skillswritten verbal and presentationwith the ability to convey complex topics succinctly to senior stakeholders.
• High judgment and resilience in fast-paced environments;demonstratedability to navigate ambiguity manage trade-offs and maketimelydecisions.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
• Insurance domain experience is strongly preferred
• Experience leading products in a large highly matrixed financial services or technology organization with exposure tothe insurance vertical in amodern digitalagency/distribution setting.
• Depth in data and platform ecosystems (e.g. APIs microservices integration patterns) and partnering on enterprise-scale architecture decisions in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Proventrack recordof building high-performing product teamshiring developing and coaching leadersand driving adoption/change management across cross-functional stakeholders.
