Senior Event Manager
Job Summary
TheRole:
As Senior Events Manager you will take ownership of incoming event enquiries from initial conversion through to seamless handover to the operations team and finally back to sales for postevent followup. Youll lead on highvalue and strategically important enquiries particularly those that are complex largescale or highprofile. This includes VIP groups sporting occasions awards dinners and other largeguestnumber or premiumrevenue opportunities.
You willbe responsible for but not limited to:
Oversee the full coordination and communication process for each event ensuring all details are accurately captured and shared with the customer the Event Executive and the Sales Executive both verbally and in writing right up to the day of event delivery.
Ensure that all banquet event orders are completed for the hotel operations team host weekly operations meeting to share information and answer questions
Support the marketing communications for conference meetings & events including weddings & Christmas
Share feedback from customers with relevant teams and create actions plans toeliminateissues going forward
Workwith Sales and Revenue Management toagreesales strategiesfor event space
Assist Director of Sales to drive the team with closing days demand generation weeks and other sales initiatives
Identifyand communicate revenue and profit opportunities with leadership team
Correct use of systems and sales process to ensure booking integrity consistency & accuracy
Implement Event Management strategy
Train develop and coach team members to support in developing the next Senior Event Manager
Assistother departments wherever necessary andmaintaingood working relationshipswithin the whole hotel
