Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to support middle and large market accounts. This role focuses on leading client service efforts supporting renewal and placement strategies and delivering high-quality service. The position also includes independent management of smaller accounts ensuring strong client relationships and consistent service execution.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive service plans for assigned clients.
Prepare for and participate in client strategy and renewal meetings.
Conduct exposure reviews and gap analyses to ensure appropriate coverage.
Collaborate on placements and coordinate with internal subject matter experts to streamline processes.
Review finalize and present proposals to clients.
Document client instructions confirm coverage details and ensure accuracy of binders policies endorsements and audits.
Participate in post-renewal and stewardship planning for larger accounts.
Maintain accurate account data contacts and policy information within agency management software.
Summarize loss history and current insurance programs including expiring exposures.
Assist with billing processes including premium allocations and invoice review.
Coordinate with carriers on policy issuance audits and related documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of Property and Casualty insurance experience with a strong understanding of coverages.
Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective client and internal relationships.
Working knowledge of coverage structures and program design.
Proficiency with client portals Excel and other relevant tools.
Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
