Elementary Dual Language Teacher for Nash County Public Schools in Nash County NC
The dual language program curriculum includes phonics reading writing math social studies science and social emotional development and is conducted entirely in Spanish. An Elementary Dual Language Teacher teaches elementary school students individually and in groups in Spanish adapting teaching methods to meet students varying needs and interests. They establish clear objectives for all lessons that guide the learning process toward the achievement of State curriculum goals. They create a classroom environment that engages and supports all students in learning. They use a variety of instructional materials and media to promote language acquisition and cultural understanding. While evaluating student learning they maintain appropriate expectations for all students provide appropriate feedback and revise instruction accordingly. They effectively communicate with students parents and the community.
Bachelors Degree or Higher or Foreign Equivalent in Education or a related field
NC Teaching License
Native or like-native Spanish fluency required
Multiple positions available
