Senior Manager- Financial Reporting

JOB SUMMARY

Support in managing accounting financial reporting and audit requirements. The role will focus on preparation of financial statements ensuring compliance with Ind AS Indian GAAP and IFRS and assisting in audits and regulatory filings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Assist in preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and Indian GAAP.
• Support preparation of consolidated financial statements and group reporting packages under IFRS/Ind AS.
• Prepare schedules reconciliations and disclosures required for financial reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end book closure processes.
• Perform financial data analytics and variance analysis to support accurate financial reporting

2. Accounting & Reconciliations

• Prepare and review account reconciliations including intercompany balances.
• Support maintenance of accounting records and financial documentation.
• Assist in ensuring adherence to accounting policies and internal financial controls.

3. Audit Support

• Support coordination and execution of statutory audits internal audits group audits and tax audits.
• Prepare audit schedules supporting documentation and responses to auditor queries.
• Track audit observations and support closure of open items.

4. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

• Assist in FEMA and other regulatory reporting as applicable.
• Coordinate with internal teams for compliance with financial reporting and governance requirements.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with Finance COE Tax Legal Secretarial and Business Finance teams to gather required financial information.
• Support Manager- Financial Reporting and Accounting in ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management and group finance.

QUALIFICATION:

Essential/Must-have: Chartered accountant

Essential/Must-have:

• 6-8 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience in statutory audit or financial reporting preferably with a Big 4 or leading consulting firm

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of Ind AS Indian GAAP and IFRS
• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and disclosure requirements
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle or equivalent)

Analytical Skills

• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
• Ability to interpret accounting standards and financial data

Soft Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under tight reporting timelines
• Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders
