An Elementary School ESL Teacher teaches elementary school students who are identified as having limited English proficiency through co-teaching and pullout adapting teaching methods to meet students varying needs and interests. They establish clear objectives for all lessons that guide the learning process toward the achievement of State curriculum goals. They use student-centered instruction to facilitate comprehension incorporating a variety of instructional materials and media into their lessons. While evaluating student learning they maintain appropriate expectations for all students provide appropriate feedback and revise instruction accordingly. They effectively communicate with students parents and school counselors about student progress.
Bachelors Degree or Higher or Foreign Equivalent in Education Spanish or a related field.
North Carolina Teaching License
Native or like-native fluency in Spanish Language required
